About

Introducing

In an attempt to formulate a common platform for 10 ASEAN economies, the ASOCIO ICT Summit 2016 was organized in Myanmar on November 13-17.

The event, organized by the Myanmar Computer Federation(MCF) and the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO), embraced digital transformation as its core tool for economic improvement.

Goals

To find a flexible system for the quick management of online & onsite registrations

To maximize the number of online registrations and avoid queues at the event, finding a robust system to power attendance was crucial. The three essential goals that the event included are the following:
- Ensure a seamless online and offline event registration
- Establish different check-in records for the main event and the gala event
- Substitute manual registrations with technological facilitation

Solution

Multiple check-in records, the integration of flexible payment methods, and a professional support made registration frictionless

Recommended by Global Connect Asia (GCA), GEVME became the event technology partner for the ASOCIO ICT Summit, taking responsibility for registration and onsite check-in. To power online registration, GEVME employed Website Builder with a flexible payment module and a customizable form-builder. Plus, GEVME provided the organizers with the tools to record onsite check-in data in two different streams.

Results

Event tickets have been sold online & offline without any issues

The easy management of separate check-in streams and payment methods allowed organizers retrieve individual reports for every stream. As a result, the event leveraged diversity in terms of registration which maximized attendance.
