Pairing participants in double and triple room in a hotel can be a real challenge for events having hundred over people attending. Problems especially arise when individual’s preference has to be taken into consideration. For e.g., it might happen that after allocating a room to 2 particular persons, they decide to swap room with other people with whom they, maybe, are more familiar with. Now, this can become a real problem as it then become difficult to keep track of who is staying in which room.
GlobalSignIn has come up with an automated system to do room pairing. GSI’s room pairing system has successfully helped lots of events in painlessly managing this previously painful process.
Here’s how it works:
Upon registering online, a person gets to select which type of room he/she wants to stay in. If the person selects Twin room, he/she is automatically prompted to choose a room mate:
Now, GSI will store a listing of all the people attending or invited to the event. To select a roommate the person simply starts by typing the name of the person, and we will do a LiveSearch across the database and on-the-spot display a listing of all the people matching the search criteria:
Upon selecting a roommate and completing the online registration, an email is then automatically sent out to the roommate notifying him of the request. The roommate then has the opportunity to accept or reject the request:
